We'd like to introduce you to our latest addition to our growing team, Andrew Schouten, the Branch Manager for our Barrhead Branch. Get to know more about him below.
What is your favourite band?
Don’t have one to be honest.
What are some of your hobbies?
I enjoy playing sports, mostly soccer and basketball, yard work, gardening on our acreage, reading books, and spending time with my wife and three children.
How long have you been working for Bartle & Gibson, and what do you enjoy about working here?
I believe it is just over 9 years now. I enjoy interacting with customers and trying to find new opportunities to grow the business.
What are some of the things that most excite you about your new role?
Trying to come up with new systems and ideas that make us more organized, efficient and make customers and staff’s lives easier; as well as, looking for, identifying, and going after areas of growth.
How will your branch celebrate Bartle & Gibson’s 80th Anniversary?
We celebrated with a customer appreciation BBQ and Tradeshow. It was a great day to interact with our valued customers and vendors.
And finally, what does Bartle & Gibson’s vision of ‘providing superior customer experiences’ mean to you?
Doing our best to serve them as we would want to be served. Showing them that we value their business and that we are excited to help them find what they need to get the job done.
