We'd like to introduce to you, Farisha Faruk, the new Assistant Controller for Bartle & Gibson's Head Office. Get to know more about her below.
What is your favourite band?
I don’t really have a favourite band, I like listening to Bollywood music and everything that’s popular, current favourite – A Bar Song (Tipsy) by Shaboozey.
What are some of your hobbies?
I love trying new things, food, activities, events. I also enjoy travelling, seeing new places and cultures.
How long have you been working for Bartle & Gibson, and what do you enjoy about working here?
9 years.
What are some of the things that most excite you about your new role?
Ability to do tasks that I studied for as an accountant, being a mentor to and coaching my team, and hopefully making a difference at Bartle & Gibson Co. Ltd.
How will your branch celebrate Bartle & Gibson’s 80th Anniversary?
Edmonton North Side is throwing a customer appreciation day trade show and lunch event with live entertainment, good food and fun.
And finally, what does Bartle & Gibson’s vision of ‘providing superior customer experiences’ mean to you?
To me, “providing superior customer experiences” means giving customers reasons to choose Bartle & Gibson over competitors by providing the right solutions at the right time, every time.
