We'd like to introduce you to our latest addition to our growing team, Gerry Wyers, the BC Electrical Sales Manager located at our Port Coquitlam branch. Get to know more about him below.
What is your favourite band?
Collective Soul.
What are some of your hobbies?
I love movies especially science fiction and I know its not a “hobby” But spending time with my kids especially on a sports field with Football being our favourite.
How long have you been working for Bartle & Gibson, and what do you enjoy about working here?
I have been with Bartle & Gibson for about 4.5 years. I love the independent spirit of Bartle & Gibson. I love how everyone from from our CEO down are approachable and ideas can be expressed and explored.
What are some of the things that most excite you about your new role?
The potential. I knew taking on the BC electrical sales manager position in BC was going to be a challenge. We needed to grow a culture, hire staff and work toward growing out footprint in the province. The potential is high, and we have started to form the foundation for what I believe will be an awesome future.
How will your branch celebrate Bartle & Gibson’s 80th Anniversary?
The Electrical Department had an amazing trip to Nashville with our VIP customers, and we have hosted some great customer lunches throughout the year with Marco's leadership at our Kebet Way branch.
And finally, what does Bartle & Gibson’s vision of ‘providing superior customer experiences’ mean to you?
Providing a superior customer experience to me is everything from being there to help the customer make the best choices to fit their needs all the way to offering our support post-sale. Going above and beyond to meet and exceed our customers expectations.
