This lead free HydroGuard(R) under the counter mixing valve for low flow control is designed for lavatory applications where the temperature of hot water must be controlled for safe, economic use. An advanced thermal actuator quickly senses and compensates for outlet temperature fluctuations induced by water temperature and pressure changes in the supply line. It features a rough bronze finish, 3/8 inch compression connections, corrosion resistant internal components, integral checks to prevent cross flow, and inlet screens to filter out debris. The temperature adjustment stem is simple to adjust and has a locking nut to prevent unauthorized or accidental adjustment. Factory temperature is set at 105 degrees F (40.6 degrees C). This product meets the reduced Q test statistic criteria of 0.5 ppb for lead per Section 9.5.1.1 of NSF/ANSI/CAN 61.
