Mircom® Smoke Detector, Photoelectronic Detection Method, 15 to 32 VDC, Smoke Alarm, LED Visual Indicator, 10 to 93% RH Non-Condensing Humidity Rating, Photoelectric Sensor, LED Display, 0 to 4000 fpm Air Duct Velocity, 6.5 mA Alarm Current, 300 uA Maximum Standby Current, 6.5 mA LED Current, 15 to 32 V, Ceiling Mounting, Plastic, 32 to 120 deg F, 2 in Height, Additional Information: 6.1 in Dia Installed in B210LP Base, 4.1 in Dia Installed in B501 Base
Mircom® low profile intelligent plug-in smoke detectors with integral communications provide features that surpass conventional detectors. Sensitivity is continuously monitored and reported to the panel where the desired detector sensitivity can be programmed. Point ID capability allows each detector's address to be set with decade address switches, providing exact detector locations for selective maintenance when chamber contamination reaches an unacceptable level. Mircom® Advanced Protocol (AP) devices use a high speed communication protocol that greatly increases the speed of communication between the intelligent devices. Mircom® Advanced Protocol uses a superior group polling method as well as an interrupt feature that provide for a faster response to an alarm condition. In addition, the Advanced Protocol allows for greater system capacity with support for up to 318 devices per SLC circuit. The AP devices are backwards compatible to operate in clip mode for legacy system applications. The MIX-2251AP provides a unique optical sensing chamber that senses smoke produced by a wide range of combustion sources.
