Unasco Pink Industrial Thread Sealing Tape is a PTFE thread sealing tape designed specifically for lines carrying steam, water and other liquids. Unasco pink industrial tread sealing tape is a full or maximum density, thread sealing tape. What this means is that, unlike most thread sealing tapes on the market Unasco pink industrial thread sealing tape has not been stretched during the manufacturing process. Stretching lowers the apparent density of tape by increasing its porosity. As stretched tape is more porous, more is required to obtain an effective seal. Also, Unasco pink industrial thread sealing tape is color-coded so fitters and inspectors can easily recognize it as quality tape.
