The Kidde® front-loading smoke and carbon monoxide alarm (P/N # 900-0213CA) offers protection from two hazards - fire and CO in one unit. This AC wire with battery backup alarm emits a beeping tone followed by a voice warning that clearly announces the danger by saying, Fire! Fire! or Warning! carbon Monoxide!. The uniquely designed frontloading battery compartment makes battery replacement quick and easy, and ensures proper installation. Manufactured with photoelectric sensors for detecting smoke and fire, this alarm also includes the world most accurate CO sensing technology based on claims by major manufacturers.
- 120 VAC, 60 Hz, 45 mA maximum per alarm power source
- Provides protection from two hazards fire and carbon monoxide in one unit with photoelectric sensor
- A single unit can be installed where previously, two were needed
- Voice warning announces the hazard type detected (in English and French)
- Photoelectric technology may detect visible fire particles (associated with slow smouldering fires) sooner than ionization alarms
- 120 VAC interconnectable will interconnect with up to 24 other devices
- 9 VDC front loading battery backup change the battery without removing the unit from the ceiling
- Simultaneously tests the unit electronics and verifies proper operation
- Hush® temporarily silences nuisance alarms for approximately 10 min
- Resets the carbon monoxide alarm
- Alarm/peak level memory, if alarm has detected a carbon monoxide level of 100 ppm or higher since it was last reset, the green led will blink once every 16 seconds and a voice alarm will announce "Caution! carbon monoxide previously Detected" if the test/reset button is pressed
- Tamper-resistant deters removal of the unit from the wall or ceiling
