Leviton® Structured Media® Telecommunication Enclosure, Series: 140, 15.62 in W, 15.32 in Height, Steel, White
This 14 in Structured Media® enclosure is the ideal solution to organize the telephone, TV, audio and high-speed data network for an apartment, condo, or smaller home. It'll accommodate two Pre-Configured structured Cabling panels that are easily updatable as technologies or equipment change. The sturdy design and functionality facilitate installation, reducing job-site labor costs and making it easier for the DIY'er to put some order to the bird's nest of cables that make up most home networks. Leviton®'s 14 in Structured Media® enclosure is packaged as part of a kit that includes a flush mount cover.
- Accommodates two or more full width pre-configured structured cabling panels
- Positive tabs on housing sidewalls prevent enclosure from falling through the studs during installation
- 1-piece white steel unit holds 1/4, 1/2 and full width expansion modules with the ability to mount most modules vertically or horizontally
- Can be surface mounted or recessed
- Ideal for new installations and retrofits
- Powder coated white cover features 3/4 in overlap to hide irregular drywall cuts
- Combine two or more enclosures for larger installations or future expansion
- Multiple knockouts on top and bottom including two new 2 in knockouts on top, facilitate cable entry and routing
- Cut-out in base of enclosure for mounting single and double gang J boxes and power modules
- (6) 3 sq-in self-healing foam grommets accommodate and protect cable bundles
- Cutout pattern in bottom accommodates the same Leviton® power modules for any necessary active gear like service provider modems or Leviton® active routers and switches
- Enclosures are constructed of white powder coated 20 ga steel
