STANDARD® Incandescent Lamp, 60A19/F/RS/130V/STD/2P, 60 W, 130 VAC, A15 Lamp, E26 Medium Lamp Base, Arbitrary, 520 Lumens, 5000 hr Average Life, Frosted Lamp, C-7A Filament, 108 mm L
THE INCANDESCENT LAMP has been in the average household for more than 120 years and this technology has long proven to be reliable, easy to use and part of a cozy and inviting environment. In the last decade a major initiative to develop more efficient light sources has replaced much of the world's general service incandescent lamps. Nevertheless, many decorative or specialized applications still require the specific attributes of incandescent lighting. In an effort to reduce overall energy consumption, regulations have been developed around the use of traditional general service lamps. These regulations do not ban the use of any particular technology but rather set minimum efficacy levels to be reached. Only the products that do not meet the new criteria are not allowed to be marketed. Products affected by the Canadian legislation have been identified with ''1'' throughout the brochure. Products designed for specialized applications which cannot be replaced by other technologies are exempted from these regulations.
