The Appleton™ Mercmaster™ LED low profile luminaires are reliable, lightweight, compact and ideal for task and area lighting applications under 20 ft. Field changeable globes, 6 kV standard surge and a choice of lumen outputs and correlated color temperatures (CCTs) make this luminaire a great option for hazardous locations where corrosive atmospheres exist. These luminaires ensure uniform light distribution without spotlight effects or dark spots and can be tailored in the field. This is the one harsh and hazardous location luminaire you can specify to meet all your low-mount application requirements, without compromise.
- Typical applications include pulp and paper mills, processing plants, chemical plants, petrochemical facilities, oil refineries, drilling rigs, foundries, waste and sewage treatment facilities, mining and steel mills
- Compact, lightweight, low profile design is suited for low mounting heights
- Seven standard mounting hood designs allow for mounting in any location
- Customize to the application requirements with four different globe options - clear and diffused polycarbonate, clear glass or prismatic glass refractor
- Three light output levels for retrofit of HID fixtures up to 175 W, emergency version provides up to 1400 Lumens illumination for 90 min of emergency lighting with clear lens or 800 Lumens illumination for 180 min of emergency lighting
- Hinge and bolt construction assures 360 deg compression at all points on fixture housing gasket for positive sealing, swing away design of captive bolt and nut simplifies servicing
- Standard screw-type terminal block can accept UL/CSA 24 to 10 AWG wire
- Emergency version features functional diagnostic test self-initiates every 14 days after initial start up
- Green and red LEDs indicate charging status and provide fault warning on emergency version
- Quick disconnect connector easily cuts power between LEDs and battery management module to allow maintenance in hazardous locations on emergency version
- Universal ratings provide vast regional coverage and can be specified by end users to meet NEC, CEC, IECEx or ATEX requirements
